Gavin Hignight is a writer whose work spans television, comics, novels, and film. He’s an author, screenwriter, and graphic novelist, as well as a producer and director of short films and music videos. Over the years, he’s written for some of the biggest franchises in entertainment — including Star Wars Resistance, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and more.

You’ll also find his work on projects like Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, along with his own original books such as Motor City and The Freak Table.

In our conversation, we talk about his journey into the entertainment industry, collaborating with legendary creators like John Carpenter, writing for major IPs while developing his own original stories, and diving into his creative process.
