The Original Surfside Girl

We are so excited to welcome the amazing Kim Dwinell to the FSF PopCast. Kim is the author of the Surfside Girls novels that were recently made into a wonderful show on Apple TV Plus. It feels very modern, but also has a Nancy Drew / Hardy Boys feel to it. This is a show that is ready for fans of all ages. But we also talk with Kim about her career before writing the Surfside Girls novels. Kim spent as an artist / animator for Disney on movies like Mulan, Hercules and Tarzan. And in one of the more interesting questions, Kim Dwinell tells us if she prefers telling stories with pictures or with words. Be sure to stick around for that.
